NeurOptimal® Training Testimonials

Below are testimonials from our neurofeedback rental customers.

Trish, Florida -

I rented equipment through California Neurofeedback a couple of months ago. The equipment was shipped cross country and was extremely well packaged/protected and arrived quickly.

Once I received it, the instructions to use it were very clear. Every time I had questions, I received responses right away. The equipment worked great and the customer service was second to none.

After the rental period finished, they followed up to assure customer satisfaction and to see if I still had more questions. Pricing was a fraction of what I would had paid for in office sessions.  It was a great experience and I highly recommend California Neurofeedback to any one interested on giving Neurofeedback a try.

“I have suffered from anxiety most of my life. Since starting the NeurOptimal therapy, I’ve noticed a difference. My body rarely feels anxious, and my mind is clearer. My focus has improved, and even my conversations are more focused and clearer. I can convey my message easily.

Although I never noticed it before, the only way I can describe it is that it feels like the “white noise” in my brain has quieted. I can tell it’s helping me, but others can really tell. I’ve been told by a few people that they have noticed a difference in me after our conversations.

I’m very happy that I tried this and I can see the benefit it brings!”

Emily L, Glendale -

“When I first started using NeurOptimal - after hearing great things from a friend - I didn’t really know what to expect. However, I had suffered from insomnia and anxiety for years and was willing to try anything at that point.

The first few times I used NeurOptimal I just closed my eyes and listened to the music. It was like meditating. I felt so relaxed. Then, I started noticing a pattern of being able to sleep really well. Not only was I getting more sleep, but the quality of sleep was better too. I also noticed a major reduction in my anxiety and an increase in ability to focus.

I’m so glad I tried NeurOptimal, and I would recommend it to anyone.”

“I’ve always recognized the importance of staying fit, but never realized to include training my brain as part of this to feel great and operate at my best. NeurOptimal has changed this, and I am forever grateful.

NeurOptimal has allowed me to enjoy greater focus and mental energy, less stress, and better sleep. This makes a huge difference for me as a professional and business owner. In addition, I’ve appreciated the fact that I have been able to do this at home on my own time. Thank you.”

“We used NeurOptimal on my 89 year old father during the last few months of his life. It contributed to MUCH better sleep. He had been having nightmares and by about the 12th session these awful dreams were gone. His outlook overall improved and he began to truly anticipate using NeurOptimal for relaxation.”

Customer Diana Mila’s experience training with NeurOptimal neurofeedback…

Looking back at when I first learned about Neurofeedback and its benefits, I remember feeling a surge of enthusiasm, excitement, and hope. Those feelings didn't last long though because the awareness of all the different healing modalities that I have tried with no significant success throughout many years came flooding back to my mind. I settled for cautious optimism as I embarked on learning all I could about the training. Through my research I was surprised to learn that neurofeedback wasn't new, in fact, it has been around since 1950 when Neal E. Miller of Yale University was able to train mice to regulate their heartbeat frequency. I was enthralled by all that I was learning and all the stories of people changing their lives using neurofeedback. Slowly but surely all the information I was ingesting about how this brain training method can and has helped countless people, allowed  the incredulous voice within me to shrink, and I was able to build up the courage to try it for myself.

My first time doing neurofeedback was at a counseling clinic about an hour from me. Although I really liked the place and my counselor, I soon realized that travel time and cost would ultimately be unsustainable.  Because I was experiencing some positive effects taking place even after just a few sessions, I hoped there was a way to continue my training somehow without having to go there in person and at a lower cost. After an honest heart to heart with my counselor, she told me there was actually a way I could continue the training at home for less.

I found California Neurofeedback after several weeks of researching various companies that offered Neuroptimal at home training. I had actually narrowed it down to three companies, but after speaking to Pete on the phone, I knew that California Neurofeedback was the right company for me.  During our  first conversation, I expressed how nervous I was about the process and Pete was so kind, professional, and informative. He took the time to patiently and thoroughly explain all the details to me (several times haha) until I was ready to "pull the trigger". I felt Pete was going to be supportive throughout my journey with him, and most importantly, I felt he was trustworthy and sincere.

Once I went through the ordering process, my neuroptimal machine was shipped and in my hands about three days later. Although Pete provided all the information I would need to set everything up and get started, he still called and walked me through the process himself (his customer service etiquette is truly impressive to say the least). My first session with the unit turned out to be quite pleasant, I felt so peaceful.  For the first week of my neuroptimal training I did one session per day, but by the second week I bumped it up to twice a day.  I quickly incorporated the training into my life and it took about two weeks before I realized "wow, I'm feeling some changes".

I have had the machine for almost four months now and I can truly say that I feel so different. My anxiety has decreased significantly, I have more energy, I am more easy going, and I feel lighter (this is hard to explain).  One of the main reasons I sought out neurofeedback was to get help with the chronic pain I have experienced for years (I had spinal surgery and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia). There is so much that happens to our mind, body and soul when living in constant pain and being plagued with thoughts related to not being able to provide for ourselves (survival fear) because we are unwell. It was all wearing me down and I felt desperate to find a way to actually help myself. I am beyond thankful to have found Pete and California Neurofeedback because I am doing so much better.

My nervous system seems to have calmed down enough to allow my body to be considerably less tense and no longer on "defcon 10" all of the time which has affected me in many ways. I can think clearer, I am generally more peaceful, and most importantly, my pain has decreased, which is unbelievable (although I read this could happen)!  My emotional eating (coping with food) has changed, I feel like I can manage my life better and can handle much more without becoming overwhelmed- I am so grateful and I always will be. Additionally, as if it couldn't get any better, after seeing the changes in me firsthand, my family rented a unit and are also enjoying the benefits (they haven't returned their Neuroptimal unit either).

In conclusion, it took a lot of research and finding the right company and support, but I did it!  I can hardly believe it, but I became one of the success stories I had read about! Thank you Pete for always being there when I needed support or had questions, and for working with me and helping me the way you did. Thank you for providing a product that can truly help people and that has changed my life (and possibly even saved it) in such truly meaningful ways.
